A young man has died in hospital after an apparent attack in Perth’s northeast on Saturday morning.
The 23-year-old Midland man was found with life-threatening injuries on Chatham Rd, Woodbridge, after police received reports of a man in need of assistance at 1.25am.
“The man was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery,” WA Police said.

He died as a result of his injuries in hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Police are investigating his death as a possible homicide, and are urging anyone who was near Chatham Rd between 12.30am and 2am on Saturday, and who might have dashcam or CCTV footage, to send it directly to officers here.
