A nail salon owner has been left in “shock” following news a suspicious blaze had torn through her popular business in Perth.
Fire crews raced to Sculptured by Laura-Jane on Walcott St in Mount Lawley after a fire erupted just after 2am, Friday.

The damage is extensive, with early estimates setting repair costs at about $100,000.
The arson squad spent Friday morning combing the crime scene, while business owner Laura-Jane Dennis asked for patience while she comes to terms with the ordeal.
“Thank you to everyone who’s reached out,” she said in a story on Instagram, where she has built a following of close to 9500.

“I’m in shock and have a lot to process.

It’s a bitter blow for the business owner who recently shared that “I love my little space that I’ve worked so hard for”.
“Nothing will stop me from succeeding. Sure, there’s bumps in the road, I never expected that opening my own salon would be smooth sailing, but it’s all worth it.
Last year she took to social media, excited to be opening her salon and academy.
“Fifteen-year-old Laura-Jane would be so proud of me right now,” she said.
“Dreams really do come true.”

Witnesses told 7NEWS two men had launched something at the salon after pulling up in red car.
Soon after, they heard popping and saw flames, and fire crews were called.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
