A Perth woman has been hospitalised with serious injuries after her two rottweilers attacked her.
Police were called to the 31-year-old woman’s home at Success in Perth’s south about 4.30pm on Saturday.
An officer used their gun to stop the attack given the dogs were “extremely aggressive” and the woman’s life was in danger, the Western Australia Police Force said.

One of the dogs was shot and seriously injured, while the other dog was secured in a garage until rangers arrived.
The woman had serious bite wounds on her arms and legs and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
Rangers seized both dogs and the City of Cockburn council will investigate the incident, police said.
