A man has been charged with a string of serious offences after allegedly exposing himself in public at several Perth shopping centres.
Child Abuse Squad detectives began investigating after numerous reports of a person exposing himself and committing obscene acts in department stores across several months.

Police allege the 33-year-old Beckenham man either exposed himself or committed obscene acts in front of members of the public, including teenage girls on several occasions, at shopping centres in Armadale, Booragoon, Cannington, Spearwood and Success between March and August.
Detectives arrested the man on Monday while he was driving in Maddington and allegedly found cannabis during a search of his car.

He was charged with three counts of obscene acts in public, two counts of indecent dealings with a child under 13, and one count each of indecent acts in public, common assault and possessing a prohibited drug.
He is due to face Fremantle Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Investigations continue.
