A man is assisting detectives as police piece together what caused another man’s death in WA’s far north.
The man was found with critical injuries by police at a home on Roe Place in Cable Beach, Broome just after 9am on Monday.
Responding officers provided first aid until St John WA paramedics arrived and took over efforts to revive him.

The man could not be saved and he died at the scene.
“Broome Detectives with the assistance of Homicide Squad officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death,” WA Police said in a statement.
Authorities said a man in his 20s was assisting detectives with the investigation.

Broome, a coastal pearling and tourist town in WA’s Kimberley region, is located 1700km northeast of Perth.
