A young child is in hospital with serious injuries, having been struck by a car at a Perth train station in the city’s southeast.
The seven-year-old boy was hit by a white Toyota Rav4 at Kelmscott Station about 1.40pm on Sunday.
WA Police said the incident unfolded near the northeastern entrance.

The boy was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.
The Toyota driver, a 25-year-old woman, was uninjured.
Major Crash investigators are leading the probe into the incident.
No charges have been laid.
