A teenage boy is fighting for life in hospital following a horror crash in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The 16-year-old was critically injured after the Audi A3 hatchback he was a passenger in was wrapped around a tree on Sherington Rd in Greenwood.

The crash unfolded about 5.20pm Wednesday.
The teen is currently in intensive care at Royal Perth Hospital.
Incredibly, the 18-year-old driver suffered only minor injuries.

It is understood the pair had been on their way to football training.
Police were pictured marking out the path they believe the car followed before overcorrecting and hitting the tree and a surrounding bollard.
Major crash is investigating and called for any witnesses to contact police.
